So, you’ve installed Veeam Backup & Replication 6, created a new Backup Repository, added a server, and now you want to create a Backup Job for Veeam Backup & Replication 6. Continue reading below to find out how.
- Open Veeam Backup & Replication 6 and click the Backup icon on the top toolbar:

- Type a name for your Backup Job, and click Next:
Note: This job will backup any Virtual Machines (VMs) that have used the Windows Server 2008 R2 template I created. Putting all common VMs together like this will ensure the very best deduplication ratios.
- Click Add… to display the Add Objects window, select your VMs, then click Add:

- Your chosen VMs will now be listed. Click Next:

- Select your Backup Repository, and click Next:

- Choose any additional processing options, and click Next:

- Specify any schedule settings and click Create:

- Review the summary screen, and click Finish to complete the task:
